 You can tell the summer is just about here as Roger Shah prepares to release the next instalment of his Music For Balearic People compilation…
Nothing says summer more than a finely crafted mix from Roger Shah. Over the past decade and a half there has been one compilation series he’s has been well known for which see no signs of heading into the sunset. The first journey into the Balearic sound came in 2008 with a double disc mix full of sweeping melodies, gorgeous strings and blissful beats. It really launched the musical status of Roger to a new level and was the start of many more releases in the series.
To date there have been ten volumes in the series, each with its own beautiful musical journey from the first beat to the last. The last edition came last year and back on point for this year brings the 11th release in the series. The format remains the same with two mixes featuring 39 tracks taking you on a Balearic journey with music from Rogar Shah himself, Rafael Osmo, Noah Shah, Sergey Shabanov and Vintage & Morelli. Its out at the end of this month and you can check out the full tracklist below as well as a link to pre-order the album from the Black Hole Recordings online shop.
