They are off the marks for the progressive offerings of 2019 with Solarstone’s progressive branch of the Pure Trance network dropping the first release of the year. They have a very big hotter up for the initial beat of this year with David Forbes bringing one of his Hal Stucker records to the table with ‘Celeste’. He’s got some very good support with Gai Barone on remix duties for this progressive beauty.

I remember the first record I heard with the rebirth of David Forbes Hal Stucker alias with a record called ‘Coral’. I had to have a little look into who was behind it at first as it was in 2016 when it came out 16 years since a release under the name. That single was just the start of a fresh wave of music as last year came the full artist album under Hal Stucker which is where ‘Celeste’ came from. This was the first track on the album, which was a progressive joy from start to finish.
The original was a puncy progressive and moody piece of trance. The perfect base for a few subtle tweaks from Gai Barone, who delivers the progressive style of sound perfectly. That’s where this remix takes you, things get a little bit deeper on the bass driven sounds but the progressive main melody which builds throughout gets a slight adjustment to deliver a very different mood. This remix is beautifully and I’m sure you will have a sound system that really makes use the driving bass notes that make this track so addictive.
Conclusion:
Top marks for a cracking remix by Gai Barone which I’m sure will go down with all you progressive nuts out there. I’m sure this won’t be the first record from his album to be delivered in single format and if Gai Barone gets the nod to do another mix it’s sure to be a s delightful as this one.
